Description

This is an 18th-century chest tomb located about 3 metres east of the east wall of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It is made of sandstone and features a flat top with an incised cross and a moulded edge that includes square fleurons. The tomb has deep sunk moulded panels and a moulded base. The inscriptions on the tomb are not legible. This tomb is the southernmost of a group of five tombs situated immediately east of the chancel wall.
