Description

This is a former farmhouse, likely dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is currently vacant and in need of repair. The exterior is rendered with pebbledash over brick and stone rubble, and has a clay-pantile roof behind ogee-curved coped gables, with brick chimney stacks. The building follows a three-unit plan with a central stairhall.

The street-facing elevation is two bays wide. On the right side of the ground floor is a small three-light metal casement window. A four-pane sash window with exposed sash boxes sits on the left side of the first floor, both within plain surrounds. To the lower left of the elevation is a six-panel door in a timber architrave with a flat timber hood. A flat-roofed dormer with a four-pane sash window is positioned above the first-floor window. The rear south elevation has three bays with four-pane sash windows on both levels to the outer bays. A central first-floor window is a twelve-pane sash with a radially glazed semicircular head, while below it is a six-panel door set within a 20th-century rustic porch. Flat-roofed dormers with four-pane sash windows are positioned over each bay.

Inside, the building features six-panel doors, panelled cupboard doors, and a dog-leg open string staircase with stick balusters, a turned newel, and a moulded handrail. The roof structure appears to be from the late 19th century, featuring collared rafters and braces from the tie-beams to the ridge piece.
