No. 14 St John Street is a house in a row, dating from the early 19th century. It has a rendered and colourwashed exterior over rubble, with a clay pantiled roof that continues on both sides and a brick chimney stack.
The building is two storeys high and has two bays. It features sash windows with 12 panes in plain openings. The ground floor window in the first bay has a flat moulded hood, while the upper bay's window has thick glazing bars. The entrance is located in the second bay and has a 20th-century door framed by a timber architrave, topped with a pediment-type timber hood supported by brackets.
