Description

No. 10 St John Street is an early 19th-century house in a row. The exterior is rendered and colourwashed over rubble, with a clay pantiled roof extending to both sides and a brick chimney stack. The house has two storeys and two bays, featuring sash windows with 12 panes in plain openings. The ground-floor window in the first bay has a moulded, flat hood. A six-panelled door is set within a wooden architrave and a timber hood supported by brackets in the second bay. The interior remains uninspected. The building is part of a terrace of consistently designed houses, numbers 8 to 18.
