Description

No. 18 St John Street is an early 19th-century house in a row. The exterior is rendered and colourwashed over rubble, with a clay pantiled roof and a brick chimney stack. It is two storeys high and has a single bay. The house features sash windows with 12 panes and thick glazing bars, set within plain openings. The ground-floor window has a moulded flat hood. The entrance is on the left-hand side, with a six-panel door in a timber architrave and a timber hood supported by brackets. The interior was not inspected. Nos. 8-18 form a terrace of buildings with a consistent design.
