Description

21A St John Street is a cottage that is part of a row of buildings, dating from the early 19th century and representing a remodelling of an earlier property. It shares its roof with No. 21. The exterior is rendered and colourwashed over rubble, topped with a Welsh slate roof that continues to the north and features a plain gable to the south. A tall brick chimney stack sits on a stone base. The cottage is two storeys high and has a single bay. On the ground floor, there is a 24-pane horizontal sliding sash window, and above it, a 2-light small-pane casement window. To the right, there is a boarded door in a plain opening. The interior has not been inspected.
