Description

No. 27 Peter Street is a house built around 1750. It features a rendered exterior with freestone detailing and a fishscale slate roof, complete with coped verges and brick stacks. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has eight bays, which contain sash windows with glazing bars set in moulded stone architraves. The central doorway has a moulded stone architrave with a prominent triple keystone and a triangular pediment supported by scrolled brackets, leading to a six-panelled door. The building is also adorned with end pilasters.
