Description

No. 7, Castle Street is a building dating back to 1695, although it was refronted around 1800. The building is constructed of rubble and has a pantile roof. It features one window on the first floor, which is a sash window with glazing bars. The ground-floor window has been altered and is now a casement. A door is situated to the left of the facade, set within a block surround. Inside, the front ground-floor room contains a door surround with a stopped-ovolo moulding. A framed staircase is present, with moulded risers. A rear cross-wing loft is said to contain an original louvre window.
