These are two late 17th-century buildings on the north-west side of Castle Street. The frontages were remodelled around 1800. They are two storeys high and rendered, with a pantile roof and two chimneys. Each building has two windows on the first floor, featuring cross-glazed sash windows. Number 4 has a coupled glazed bar sash with a cornice, while Number 5 contains a mid-19th century pair of windows. A single window is present on the ground floor of Number 4. Doors are centrally located. Number 5 includes a winder staircase to the side of the chimney in the rear room.
