Description

This monument, located 5 metres south-west of the Post Office in Lympsham, is likely from the mid-19th century and was created for J. H. Stephenson. It is made of ashlar stone and features a hexagonal shape topped with a stone spire. Each face of the monument has an ogee-headed niche in the lower half, above which are two blank quatrefoils. The monument is adorned with a traceried opening and has an embattled band around the base of the ribbed spire, culminating in a finial.
