Description

This is a chest tomb dedicated to Eli Cook, dating from 1779, located in the churchyard of the Church of St Christopher, one metre south of the south chapel. The tomb is made of dressed stone and features a moulded plinth, an oblong chest with fluted corner pilasters, and medallions on the west and south sides. The north side has an inscription, and the tomb is topped with a fluted entablature and a moulded slab. It is enclosed by a railed fence, with an urn finial at each corner.
