Description
Stream Lodge is a farmhouse that has been converted into two or more dwellings. It likely underwent enlargement in the early 20th century, with origins dating back to the 17th century. The exterior features roughcast over rubble and thatched roofs, which are hipped to the right. There is a brick stack located to the left of the cross passage and set in from the right gable end, along with a stone stack at the rear gable end on the left. The building has a parallel range connected by a hipped cross wing on the right. It is two storeys high and consists of four bays. The windows are 20th-century leaded casements, with three 4-light windows and one 2-light window above the entrance. On the ground floor, there is one 4-light window on the left and two on the right, alongside a plank door. The right return features four bays, while the left return has two 2-light early 19th-century leaded iron casements in the rear gable end, likely serving as stair lights. The interior has not been viewed.
