Description
Floral Cottage and Inglenook Cottage is a cottage dated 1770, constructed of coursed rubble with some render on the right side, and features a double-Roman tile roof with two brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and a virtually symmetrical facade. It stands two storeys high with three bays; the left two bays contain three-light moulded stone-mullioned windows, while the right bay has two-light wooden casements. The central door opening is framed by a stone surround, which supports an entablature and a triangular pediment, with a contiguous drip-mould on either side that stops at each end. A circular medallion in the tympanum features a carved central head and is inscribed with the date "1770".
