Description
The Full Moon is a 17th-century inn that was refronted in the early 19th century. It features painted render and a triple-Roman tile roof that is hipped to the right, along with three brick stacks. The facade is irregular and low, consisting of two storeys and five bays, with flush mounted sash windows that have glazing bars. The doorway is located in the second bay and is framed by a rendered gabled porch from the 20th century, leading to a six-panelled inner door with the top two panels glazed. There is a wrought iron bracket that projects at right angles to the left corner of the facade, supporting a painted signboard from the 20th century. To the left, there is a low single-storey outshut with a pantile roof and no window openings. The building is primarily noted for its group value with the nearby Baptist Chapel and Chapel Cottage.
