Description
This is an unidentified chest tomb located in the churchyard about 11 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St John the Baptist. It is possibly from the early 17th century and is made of sandstone. The tomb has a flat top and features a steeply chamfered cornice that is approximately 230 mm deep. At the time of the survey in May 1984, the tomb was largely obscured by ivy. It is part of a group of notable chest tombs in the churchyard.
