Description

11 and 12 Christchurch Street West are a pair of late 17th-century buildings that have been altered over time. They are two storeys high, constructed of rubble with number 11 rendered. The roofs are covered in pantiles. Number 11 has three windows, while number 12 has two, all set within raised surrounds with ogee moulding on the outer edges. The windows are plain 19th-century sash windows; the centre first-floor window of number 11 is blind. Number 11 features a modern box porch projecting forward. Some of the original surrounds remain visible on the inner door and at the rear, where there is a tall cross-mullion window within a gabled stair turret. Number 12 has a modern glazed door to the left, set within an architrave surround.
