Description

Two pairs of gate piers and dwarf walls to Christ Church Churchyard were built in the 1840s to 1851, likely designed by Manners and Gill. The gate piers are made of ashlar and feature square pyramidal capping with fluted front faces. They are complemented by cast iron gates that have a decorative top bar and pointed rails. The gate piers are linked by dwarf walls.
