Description

Belmont House is a good mid-19th century house that was formerly situated in its own grounds. It is constructed of ashlar and has two storeys, with a central section that projects forward. The building features a cornice and blocking course adorned with anthemion motifs at the center. There are pilasters with panels and incised ornament, as well as a sill band. The ground floor has three windows, each with architrave surrounds and cornices, and the windows are sashes with glazing bars. A central porch with fluted Doric columns is located next to the doorway, which is topped by a triglyph frieze.
