Description
Lowlands is a large house from the mid-19th century, featuring two wings set at right angles, with the right gable end facing the road. The building has two storeys and is mostly covered in stucco, topped with a tiled roof that has gables over the first-floor windows. On the left side, there is a larger hipped gable that projects slightly. The house includes fretted bargeboards and eaves adorned with paterae. Each wing has three windows, which are arranged in two and three-light configurations. On the ground floor to the left, there is a large bay window with a frilled hood. The windows have diamond leaded lights. The pointed doorway located in the return angle features carved spandrels and a drip moulding. Additionally, there is an attached archway on the street that has a similar doorway flanked by buttresses, with a shield above.
