Description

The Orchard is a late 18th century to early 19th century three-storey building made of red brick, set back from the road. It features a hipped slate roof and eaves brackets that may have been added later. The building has five windows, with the central ones being arched. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, and the side windows have frilled hinds for blinds. The entrance is highlighted by a stone door surround with Tuscan pilasters, an open pediment, and a fanlight. The Orchard is part of a group that includes the Old Vicarage, Fons George, and the New Inn on Wilton Street.
