Description

The Old Vicarage is a two-storey building from the early 19th century, featuring a roughcast front that has three windows. It is positioned at right angles to the road and has a hipped slate roof with wide eaves. The sash windows include glazing bars, and the first-floor windows are adorned with iron balconies. The central window is set in an arched recess. There is a notable contemporary doorcase with a pediment, which is part of the garden wall attached to the left side of the front. The Old Vicarage, along with the New Inn and the Orchard on Middleway, forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
