Description

4 The Bridge is a building dating from around 1821, part of the Bridge Scheme. It has four storeys and a cellar, constructed from ashlar stone, similar in style to No 3, featuring a cornice and a panelled effect on the front. The building has a parapet and a single range of windows with glazing bar sashes. The late 19th or early 20th-century shop front includes panelled outer piers with scroll brackets and a modern fascia. There are one to two shop windows, with dividing colonettes that have bulb capitals beneath floral corner brackets.
