Description

No. 3 The Bridge is a building dating from around 1821, part of the Bridge Scheme. It has three storeys and a cellar, constructed of ashlar stone. The façade features three windows with glazing bar sashes, a cornice, and a parapet, with the windows set in an outer surrounding frame. The building has coped verges and chimneys. On the ground floor, there are two modern shop windows. The central doorway is slightly recessed with a thickening of the wall and has a cornice, although a modern fascia cuts across it.
