Description

HIGH HAM CP BEER ROAD (West side) ST43SW BEER 2/24 Stables and other outbuildings 10 - metres north of Beer Farmhouse GV II

Stables and integral outbuildings. C19. Local lias stone roughly cut and squared; double Roman clay tile roof hipped at east end, plain west gable. Single-storey, 8 bays. Boarded doors under timber lintols bays 1, 4, 6 and 8; Loft door bay 7 with flight of stone steps up; elsewhere plain casement windows; double collar roof trusses. Important in context and setting of Beer Farmhouse (qv).
