Description

Cottage-on-the-Green is a cottage likely dating from the 18th century, located in a row of buildings on the west side of The Green in High Ham. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, topped with a triple roll clay tile roof featuring plain verges and brick chimney stacks. The cottage is two storeys high with two bays. It has two and three-light casement windows, with small-pane casements on the lower level and earlier pattern leaded casements above, which include iron framed opening lights. The central entrance features a six-panel door set within a 20th-century brick, timber, and tiled porch. The interior has not been seen.
