Description
Dobyns is a former rectory built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed from local lias stone that has been cut and squared, with Ham stone dressings, and features a Welsh slate roof between stepped coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays. The windows are hollow chamfered mullioned with segmental arched lights under square labels; the outer bays have three-light windows, while the upper bay two has a four-light window, with the lower windows being larger in scale. In the lower bay two, there is a pointed-segmental arched doorway with a studded boarded door, and to the right, a single-light rectangular window. The interior has not been seen. There is a lean-to garage attached to the north gable, which is not of special interest.
