3/151 Stable building about 2 metres north-east of Coat Farmhouse -

GV II

Stable building. Probably early Cl9. Ham stone roughly cut and squared; hipped double Roman clay tile roof. Two storeys, 2 bays irregular fenestration. To lower bay 1 a 3-light casement window with segmental arched head, and above a 2-light window, unglazed but with vertical iron bars and shutters; to lower bay a 2 stable door in segmental arched opening, and above, off centre, a boarded loft door. Interior not seen. Building has important group value with Coat Farmhouse (q.v.)
