Cottage of C17 or C18 with new street facade of c1900. Stone, local in costly random courses with stone dressings, plain Clay tile roof between coped gables; brick chimney stacks. 2 storeys random fenestration with C19 large pane sash windows to North elevation, recessed porch. Probably undisturbed stonework towards East end of this elevation, with small stone semi-circular arched stairlight (blocked) of c1700 remaining; high on East side gable a matching pair of slightly larger windows. On South (rear) Rendered wall, three 3-light hollow chamfer mullioned windows (2 at first floor level). Internally (only partly inspected) fireplace of c1700 on East wall, but adjacent winding staircase removed. (The single-storey and 2-storey rear extensions not of interest).
