Description
The monument to Richard Hippisley is located in the churchyard, 6 metres south of the chancel of the Church of All Saints in East Pennard. This 17th-century chest tomb features an inscription on the west end that commemorates Richard Hippisley, who died in 1607. It is constructed from dressed stone, with a sunken plinth and a plain oblong chest made up of four large slabs. The top is a hipped slab with a moulded edge around the lower part.
