Description

The Mount is an early 19th-century house, later divided into separate dwellings. The main house has a rough cast and rendered exterior, with the right-hand bay appearing as ashlar. It has a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and a brick stack to the left of the front entrance. The house is two storeys high and four bays wide, featuring 12-pane sash windows. The entrance, located in the second bay from the right, is round-headed, with a moulded door case, a keystone, and impost blocks. The entrance features a six-panel door with panelled reveals and a fanlight. To the right of the main house is a domestic wing added in the early to mid-19th century. This wing has a rendered exterior, also appearing as ashlar, and a separate roof covered with asbestos slates. The wing is two storeys high and two bays wide, with sash windows and a 20th-century door on the left side.
