Description
This is an 18th-century chest tomb made of Doulting stone, located in the churchyard 6 meters southeast of the porch of the Church of St Nicholas in North Barrow. The tomb features a moulded plinth with fielded panels—one on each end and two on each side. There is no frieze, and the very shallow hipped top is adorned with moulded carving. The monument commemorates an individual and his wife, Ann, who died in 1783.
