Description
Barrow Farm House is an 18th-century detached farmhouse, with later alterations and extensions. It is constructed from local grey lias stone, squared and cut, with a Welsh slate roof between coped gables and brick end chimney stacks. The house has an L-shaped layout and is two storeys high with four bays. It features three-light horizontal bar casement windows, each with a timber lintol. A part-glazed door is located in the lower bay of the third bay, sheltered by a timber and scallop-tiled roof hood. Extensions to the rear include two two-storey sections with double Roman clay tiled roofs and similar casement windows. The interior has not been inspected.
