Description

This is a streetlamp located 10 metres east of the east end of the Church of St. Katherine, dating from the late 19th century. It features a glazed four-sided lantern with a hipped top and a small ventilator on top. The lamp is mounted on a decorative cast iron shaft that has acanthus decoration and two scrolled projecting shafts just below the lantern. Originally designed for oil, it has now been converted to electricity. This streetlamp is included for its group value.
