Description
The monument to Mary Greenwood is a pedestal tomb located in the churchyard, 10 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It is dated 1763, as indicated by the inscription. The tomb is made of dressed stone and features corner urn pilasters. Each face of the pedestal has an inscribed tablet, except for the eastern side, which is blank. The monument has a moulded cap that includes a base for a finial, although the finial itself is missing.
