Description
Manor House is a house built in the mid to late 19th century. It features local Flemish bond brickwork, coped verges, and a tiled roof in a "Tudor Gothic" style. The building has two storeys and an attic, comprising five bays with 2 and 3-light wood mullioned and transomed casements, which include leaded lights and stopped labels.
At the centre, there is a gabled brick porch with ornamental bargeboards and a 4-centred arch opening that leads to paired three-quarter glazed doors. The house has a deep plaster eaves band adorned with shallow pointed-arch blind arcading. Additionally, there is a wing at right angles to the rear that contains a panelled ballroom, with French windows on the ground floor featuring 4-centred arch heads.
