Description
This is a range of outbuildings, including stables and a coach house, built in 1875. The buildings are made from local stone that is cut and squared, with ashlar dressings and roofs covered in Welsh slate. The layout is in an 'L' shape, primarily one storey high, except for the stable section to the north of the courtyard, which is two storeys.
The west wing has four bays featuring two segmental arches for coaches, one of which has doors. There are also cast iron windows set in simple ashlar surrounds and a plain boarded door. The return stable block has two bays with cast iron windows on both levels; the upper windows have triangular heads that project into small gabled dormers, with a plain door situated between the bays. Additionally, there is a four-bay single-storey block that contains mostly domestic outbuildings, which connects to the northeast corner of the Manor Farmhouse. The elevation to the north matches the rest of the buildings. This range is part of a complete model farm complex that has seen little alteration.
