Description

This mid-to-late 18th-century house, now divided into two flats, is located on St Mary Street in Bridgwater. The building is constructed with Flemish-bond brick, which has been rendered on the front elevation, and topped with a steep mansard roof covered in pantiles. The roof is finished with brick coping and chimney stacks at the gable ends. The house follows a double-depth plan. It is two storeys high with attic space, and has a two-window facade. Twentieth-century dormers are present, along with 3/6-pane vented windows to the first floor. The ground floor features twentieth-century horned 8/8-pane sash windows, and a twentieth-century glazed door to the right. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
