Description
This is a mid-19th century building originally comprising two houses, now used as three shops in High Street, Bridgwater. The building is constructed of painted brick with painted stepped stone voussoirs and cills, and has a hipped pantile roof with a brick stack in the party wall. It follows a double-depth plan and is arranged over three storeys, with a five-window facade. Number 43, on the left, has two windows, while numbers 45 and 47 have three. The second floor windows have flat arches and 3/6-pane sashes. The first-floor windows are 6/9-pane sashes, and the ground floor has 20th-century shop fronts. The interiors were not inspected.
