Description

This is a house, likely dating back to the 16th century, and later altered in the 20th century. It is now used as shops. The building is constructed from limestone rubble, with more recent brick pointing, and has a pantile roof. It probably originally had a three-room layout. The front is two stories high with a three-window arrangement. A 16th-century Tudor-arched doorway, now a window, features an oak frame with a chamfered lintel and a chamfered stone plinth, located slightly to the left of centre. A wide stack, with a modern brick flue above the eaves, sits on the left-hand side, while a narrower, truncated stack is set back between the floors on the right-hand side. A wide opening is on the extreme right. Modern windows are now fitted. The interior has not been inspected.
