Description

This is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, 8 metres north of the north aisle of the Church of St Mary. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of dressed stone. The tomb has an oblong shape and rests on a moulded plinth. It features fluted end pilasters on the north and south sides. The south side has a fielded panel with a decayed inscription, while the panel on the north side is missing. The top of the tomb is a hipped slab, which is moulded around its lower edge.
