Description
The summerhouse, dating from the early 19th century, is located 15 metres west of Pondsmead. It is constructed of rubble, with some parts rendered, and features a conical thatched roof. This single-storey building has a circular cottage orne design, with three depressed arch head windows that are two-light and have stained glass infill at the top of each light. There are three additional windows, one of which is half-height and has an ogee head. The door opening is on the east side, with a rustic panel door topped by a thatched bonnet hood supported on rustic posts. Adjoining the rear is a small circular thatched outbuilding. Inside, there are fine carved wood fireplace surrounds that match those in Pondsmead.
