Description

Dean Cottage is a cottage dating to circa 1700, located on Zion Hill in Ashwick. It is constructed of rubble with a plain tile roof of uneven pitch, gabled to the front. One brick and one ashlar stack are present. The cottage is two storeys high and single bay, featuring ovolo moulded stone mullion windows of two and three lights. A door opening is located to the right side, with a chamfered stone surround and a recessed 20th-century glazed door. The left corner is radiused, and a two-bay return is visible to the right.
