Description
Green Lane Farm Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century. It is built of rubble stone, with some 19th century squared rubble on the north gable, and features a stone tiled roof, coped gables, and a stack at the south end. The cottage is one and a half storeys high.
The north end gable has a first floor 2-light window with ovolo-moulded recessed mullions, and the ground floor has an unmoulded surround with a 20th century window to the right. The west front features a dormer gable above a 2-light window with a hoodmould, and a 3-light ground floor window, also with a hoodmould, both showcasing ovolo-moulded mullions. There is a 20th century flat-roofed porch to the left.
Attached to the east side is a 2-storey ashlar house from the late 19th or 20th century, which is not of special interest.
