Description

Lamb Cottage and No 4 Pye Corner are a pair of cottages that date from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are constructed from rubble stone and feature Bridgwater tile roofs. Each cottage is two storeys high and has a one-window range. No 4 has been raised in ashlar and includes a recessed ovolo-moulded 2-light window on each floor, with a hoodmould over the ground floor window and a door to the left that is set in a 20th-century porch. The north-west angle has flush quoins. Lamb Cottage features a coped south-east gable and an end wall stack. On the first floor, there is a recessed ovolo-moulded 2-light window above a 6-panel door set in a chamfered surround, with a similar 3-light mullion window to the left.
