Description

Oakhill Cottage is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is built of painted roughcast with a slate roof and wide eaves, and has brick end stacks. The design reflects the Regency villa style. The cottage is two storeys high with three bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars. It has two-storey angled bays on each side, each with a small hipped roof. The central doorway has a moulded architrave topped by a triangular pediment supported by cut stone brackets, and a half-glazed door. There is a two-bay return to the right side of the building.
