Description
Upper Weare Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century, with an addition from the early 19th century. The building is divided into two halves; the right side is roughcast, while the left side is smoothly rendered with rusticated quoins. It has a slate roof with coped verges and a coping between the two halves, each topped with a brick chimney stack. The farmhouse is two storeys high and features a three-bay section on the left and a two-bay section on the right. The first floor has three-light casement windows, with those in the left bays set under stopped labels. The ground floor has 16-pane sash windows in the left bays, also under similar labels, and three-light casements in the right bays. The main entrance is almost at the centre of the left three bays, featuring a six-panelled door with a triangular pediment supported by three-quarter Tuscan columns.
