Description
This milestone, dated 1837, is made of cast iron and has a V shape with a hipped top. The south side features raised lettering that reads "To Cross 1," while the north side states "To Bridgwater 15." The center panel displays the inscription "Bristol Turnpike Trust." It is likely that this milestone has been moved from its original location.
