Description

Bowyer House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features colourwashed pebbledash and has a parapet with a plain coping that ramps up slightly at each end. The roof is made of pantiles, with coped verges and rendered stacks. The building is symmetrical, standing three storeys tall with three bays. The windows are flush mounted sash windows, with 16 panes on the ground and first floors and 12 panes on the second floor. There is a central door opening with a six-panelled door, where the top two panels are glazed, and it has a flat wooden hood supported by moulded brackets. Bowyer House is attached to the New Inn.
