Description
Fallowdene is a villa built around 1810, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The exterior is roughcast with end pilasters and a hipped slate roof featuring wide eaves and brick stacks. The building is symmetrical, standing two storeys high with two bays and twelve-pane sash windows that have stepped voussoirs. The central door opening contains a six-panelled door, with the outer two of the top three panels being glazed. Above the door is a flat wooden hood supported by two cast-iron columns, featuring a moulded cornice. Inside, the left ground floor room has internal window shutters and an early 19th-century fireplace with a bracketed mantle.
