Description

This description is for a pair of chest tombs located in the churchyard of the Church of St Leonard, approximately 4.5 meters southeast of the chancel. These monuments date from the mid to late 17th century and are made of Ham stone. They feature flat tops and thick slabs with a cyma recta moulded cornice. The north fronts of both tombs are plain, while the south fronts are inscribed with the names of members of the Willie family from Fyfett, who died in 1666 and 1679, respectively.
